I’m making my Hoomans take part in the 99K For Canines with Dogs Trust Ireland!
I'll be helping my Hoomans take on a challenge of walking 99 kilometres in a month to help stray and abandoned doggos and puppers & and I get extra walkies too. Every euro raised gives the gift of a second chance to our furry friends in Dogs Trust Ireland's care - thank you for your support!
The aim of Dogs Trust Ireland is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. Since opening their Rehoming Centre in 2009, they have rescued and rehomed over 22,000 dogs. They rely on public support to fund their work and they are entirely reliant on the generosity of amazing people to continue our life-saving work. Every single donation raised provides each dog that comes into their care with nutritious food, veterinary treatment, a microchip, vaccinations and most importantly, love and cuddles from their canine carers and a forever home.

Dog Parks, Rain and Miggledy Higgins Dogs
Friday 4th Apr
Hello again, on day 3 I brought mom to the Regional Park for a nice big walkies. I like it there because there is lots of grass for me to run around on ( and trees that need watering). We walked for about 2km and met lots of other doggos bringing their hoomans for sunny morning walkies. After the walkies I brought mom to the dog park. I gave her a rest and allowed her to talk with the other Hoomans, while I ran around with all the othe doggos. I made her throw a stick, she thought she would only have to throw it once but I kept bringing it back and making her throw it again.
In the evening I brough Dad and Philip down the hill again, I had walked them for for about one kilometer when it started to rain. Schnauzers do NOT like rain. I was wet and cold when I got home so I had to sit on the couch with mom for the rest of the evening.
Thursday 4 km
I put my Hoomans in the car on Friday evening and made them drive me to Coachford Greenway for my evening walkies. It’s a very nice place to go walking. I met some other doggos, 2 great big ones like President Miggledy Higgins has. We saw the rowing Center and even a group of people out learning how to row.
I saw a big group of strange large Black and White Creatures. I didn't know what they were so I barked at them.
I didn't make the Hoomans do the whole walk tonight because it was getting dark but in total it was 5km this evening.
Friday 5 km

Wednesday 2nd AprFirst Two Days Walkies done. Yesterday I barked at Dad until we woke up and brought me for morning walkies (I think he thought it was an April Fools Prank, But I wasn’t Joking 😊). I brought him for walkings down the hill. I sniffed and snuffed, got all the morning news and watered the Daffodils. Dad touched the rattley stone when we got to half way. When we got back up the hill home, I allowed Dad make himself a Cup of Tea. We walked 4km
Today I Brough Dad and Philip for walkies down the hill again. It was a lovely sunny evening. I had a who can bake the loudest competition with the two white dogs up the road, I WON!!! We didn’t go too far this evening all around it was about 2km.
I’ll be back again soon with more walkies news.
