99K for Dogs Trust: Millie & Me🐾
This September, Millie and I are taking on the September 99K challenge for Dogs Trust!
We’ll be aiming to complete 99 kilometres throughout September, getting out for walks together while raising money for dogs who are waiting for their forever homes.
Millie is still young, so this challenge will also be about enjoying our time together, exploring new places and building up those little adventures one walk at a time. There will probably be plenty of sniffing, stopping, distractions and moments where Millie decides that walking in a straight line is simply not for her. But that’s part of the fun.
I wanted to take part because Dogs Trust does so much to support dogs who have been abandoned, surrendered or who need a second chance. They provide them with food, veterinary care, training, rehabilitation and a safe place to stay while they wait to find their new families.
Having Millie has made me appreciate even more how much love, patience and responsibility comes with having a dog. Every dog deserves to experience that same feeling of being safe, loved and cared for.
So throughout September, Millie and I will be putting our paws and feet to work for a very good cause.🐾
Our goal is simple:
99 kilometres.
One month.
Two walkers.
One very important cause. ❤️
If you can donate, share our fundraiser or simply follow along with our progress, we’d really appreciate your support.
Now we just need to convince Millie that stopping to investigate every single blade of grass doesn’t count as completing extra kilometres. 🐕
