I’m taking part in the 99K For Canines with Dogs Trust Ireland!
I'll be taking on a challenge of walking 99 kilometres in a month to help stray and abandoned dogs and puppies. Every euro raised gives the gift of a second chance to our furry friends in Dogs Trust Ireland's care - thank you for your support!
The aim of Dogs Trust Ireland is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. Since opening their Rehoming Centre in 2009, they have rescued and rehomed over 22,000 dogs. They rely on public support to fund their work and they are entirely reliant on the generosity of amazing people to continue our life-saving work. Every single donation raised provides each dog that comes into their care with nutritious food, veterinary treatment, a microchip, vaccinations and most importantly, love and cuddles from their canine carers and a forever home.

Tug Of War! #99K for Canines!
Sunday 12th Apr Myself and Hunter walked over 5km today. There was still a lot of stop and starting so it took us 1 hour and 23 minutes but it will be worth it.
Training Walk with Hunter
Sunday 5th Apr So Hunters training is going well. He is not pulling on the lead as much so we were able to walk a little further today. I’m trying to concentrate on good quality walks for him with lots of sensory stimulation for him. That’s my hope for all the Dogs Trust doggies that they get homes that will focus on the quality of life of the dog! Share
Hunter learns to walk!
