In our busy lives, it is all too easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle, sometimes forgetting to pause and reflect on the moments that truly matter. The Big Paws, brought to you by Dogs Trust Ireland, serves as a reminder to take the time and space to 'paws' and remember the dogs who have touched our lives.It is a chance for us to acknowledge and celebrate the significance of our furry companions, both past and present.

The Big Paws is an opportunity to honour and celebrate the indelible mark our dogs leave in our lives, and to help raise vital funds in our work caring for dogs across Ireland.

In memory of Foxy

Tuesday 20th Jan
Foxy loved to hunt all night and run all day in his prime .He did this regularly until his cruciate ligament operation then life forced him to slow down .For a while he still came a long on walks with Barnaby and Freddy but his running days were over and eventually he choose to stay behind in the house with Mam .He enjoyed the garden in Greenfield during this retirement phase then one night he could no longer get back into the car to go home with me.This sudden change signalled the end for my darling boy .He spent his last night in Greenfield,his favourite place to hunt and run .Foxy passed away the following afternoon.His ashes will return to the fields he loved so much .
