In our busy lives, it is all too easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle, sometimes forgetting to pause and reflect on the moments that truly matter. The Big Paws, brought to you by Dogs Trust Ireland, serves as a reminder to take the time and space to 'paws' and remember the dogs who have touched our lives. This will be a unique event that invites us to acknowledge and celebrate the significance of our furry companions, both past and present.

This magical event is an opportunity to honour and celebrate the indelible mark our dogs leave in our lives, and to help raise vital funds in our work caring for dogs across Ireland.

Just a little Tidy

Sunday 18th Jan

Tidy was a spectacular character. She taught her two little jack Russell sisters to be confident and cheeky. She did bully her brother, she gave him a hard time… can’t deny it. There was a power struggle but he had seniority…. And Tidy hated that.

Jack Russell’s are clever dogs and Tidy would buy and sell you. She was small but an extremely athletic dog. She’d walk for miles until she got older when she just wanted to be out to make sure the neighbours were being good.

Now, as many of you know I have 2 dogs and neither of them are walkers so I’ll be undertaking this walk by myself. I plan on taking in some of Tidy’s favourite spots, the church yard, the comprehensive field and the loop walk.
