I’m taking part in the 99K For Canines with Dogs Trust Ireland!
I'll be taking on a challenge of walking 99 kilometres in a month to help stray and abandoned dogs and puppies. Every euro raised gives the gift of a second chance to our furry friends in Dogs Trust Ireland's care - thank you for your support!
The aim of Dogs Trust Ireland is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. Since opening their Rehoming Centre in 2009, they have rescued and rehomed over 22,000 dogs. They rely on public support to fund their work and they are entirely reliant on the generosity of amazing people to continue our life-saving work. Every single donation raised provides each dog that comes into their care with nutritious food, veterinary treatment, a microchip, vaccinations and most importantly, love and cuddles from their canine carers and a forever home.

Walking 99k in September for Dogs Trust – With Alfie & Lola by My Side 🐾
Saturday 23rd AugThis September, I am taking on a challenge that’s very close to my heart ……walking 99 kilometres to raise funds for Dogs Trust. And I won’t be walking alone… my two loyal companions, Alfie and Lola, will be right by my side every step of the way.
Dogs Trust do incredible work to rescue, care for and rehome dogs who deserve nothing but love. Every donation helps provide food, shelter, medical care and a chance at a happy life for dogs in need. As a lifelong dog lover (and proud dog mum!), I wanted to do something meaningful to support their mission.
The Challenge 🥾
Over the course of September, Alfie, Lola, and I will walk a total of 99 kilometres. To keep things interesting (and hopefully entertaining for you!), we’ll be heading out to different places each weej, woods, hills, beaches, and parks, capturing our walks in photos and videos as we go. Think of it as a little walking adventure diary!

Dogs Trust works tirelessly to care for abandoned and neglected dogs, to help them find their forever families.
