In our busy lives, it is all too easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle, sometimes forgetting to pause and reflect on the moments that truly matter. The Big Paws, brought to you by Dogs Trust Ireland, serves as a reminder to take the time and space to 'paws' and remember the dogs who have touched our lives.It is a chance for us to acknowledge and celebrate the significance of our furry companions, both past and present.
The Big Paws is an opportunity to honour and celebrate the indelible mark our dogs leave in our lives, and to help raise vital funds in our work caring for dogs across Ireland.

Big Paws Hike
Sunday 16th Aug I’ll be hiking on August 30th in memory of Inja and to raise money for the dogs trust.

Sunday 16th AugInja was my shadow.
From the beautiful, puppy he once was, to the big, gentle, dignified old boy he became, he has been beside us through so many chapters of our lives. Waiting always for me, helping through all the tough times. So many ordinary days, adventures, changes, children growing up, laughter and tears — and somehow he was just always there.
He gave us the kind of love that only a dog can give. Quiet, unquestioning and completely devoted.
Watching him grow old was such a privilege, even though the ending was so terribly hard. I would have kept him forever if I could.
