I’m taking part in the 99K For Canines with Dogs Trust Ireland!
I'll be taking on a challenge of walking 99 kilometres in a month to help stray and abandoned dogs and puppies. Every euro raised gives the gift of a second chance to our furry friends in Dogs Trust Ireland's care - thank you for your support!
The aim of Dogs Trust Ireland is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. Since opening their Rehoming Centre in 2009, they have rescued and rehomed over 22,000 dogs. They rely on public support to fund their work and they are entirely reliant on the generosity of amazing people to continue our life-saving work. Every single donation raised provides each dog that comes into their care with nutritious food, veterinary treatment, a microchip, vaccinations and most importantly, love and cuddles from their canine carers and a forever home.

Dolly on doctor ordered bed rest for a week
Monday 9th Mar Dolly is on doctor ordered bed rest. No walkies if possible :( steve the furry fundraiser will need to keep the flag flying, but it does make it more difficult to reach the goal. Share
5th March
Thursday 5th Mar 12.7km down. Today was pissing rain.. which had the upside of the dogs moving a lot quicker than normal :D if only everyday they could move this quickly. We'd have the 99k done already! Poor old dolly picked up a paws pad injury, so she might have to sit the next few km out. But we will see. Share
