I’m taking part in the 99K For Canines with Dogs Trust Ireland!
I'll be taking on a challenge of walking 99 kilometres in a month to help stray and abandoned dogs and puppies. Every euro raised gives the gift of a second chance to our furry friends in Dogs Trust Ireland's care - thank you for your support!
The aim of Dogs Trust Ireland is to give stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a brighter future with responsible, caring new owners. Since opening their Rehoming Centre in 2009, they have rescued and rehomed over 22,000 dogs. They rely on public support to fund their work and they are entirely reliant on the generosity of amazing people to continue our life-saving work. Every single donation raised provides each dog that comes into their care with nutritious food, veterinary treatment, a microchip, vaccinations and most importantly, love and cuddles from their canine carers and a forever home.

Challenge Complete
Thursday 2nd Apr Myself and Séamus have completed the challenge! Our final distance was 344 kilometres, so we totally smashed our 99 kilometre goal.

Wednesday 25th Mar Throughout the rain, wind and more rain.. myself and Séamus have walking away and smashing our goal for dogs trust. We are currently at 269 kilometers! We are well on our way to tripling our 99 kilometer goal.

Monday 9th Mar On day 9 of the challenge and myself and Séamus have clocked up 79 kilometers so far! We are well on track to reach our goal.. and are considering doubling it! Share
